I just picked up this AMF and I tried searching the Cabe for a way to help identify the year but didn't find what I was looking for. Serial # is C15306 548? Last digit is kind of cut off, can see in the photos below.
I have here one single Carisle tube with the measurement 26 x 1.75 x 1 3/4. I did verify the tube does read the same thing. Box is in really great shape and makes a great display piece.

My understanding is that SC on the serial number represents 1938. Is there a way to know if this bicycle is supposed to have the skirt guard on the rear like other Elgins I have seen?

I have a 50's Schwinn Phantom Bicycle seat. As you can see, it's not in the best of shape but is a great candidate to be redone foe that special Phantom. I believe the seat to be a Mesinger, markings are pretty faded. Does also come with the Schwinn seat tube. Any questions, please do ask before...
Looking for antique/vintage farm tools/equipment can be wood planes, wrenches, sheep shears, axes, silage knives, etc. This can also be farm tools/equipment that were used in other countries. I am open to looking at what you have.
Thanks,

Brought home a Century Schwinn today. Got it mainly for the plate but this one isn't in to bad of a shape. Will see what I will do with it down the road. Only biggest question I have is the year of manufacture for the Century? Did search the cave but couldn't find much.
I have decided I am going to build on this Schwinn and make it ride again. First things first, anyone know of someone who can straighten a front fork in Minnesota? Also, the second thing I will be looking for is rims for it, which should work for a 26" 2.125" tire.
Thanks,
Brandyn
Hello,
I noticed this bicycle on the marketplace and they did say it was a Schwinn. I tried to compare it to photos in Google but couldn't pin point the right year. Just need a little expertise, please.
Thanks,
Brandyn

Hello Cabers,
I am looking for more information on a 1898? Roberts Special out of Minneapolis Minnesota. I am looking at one out of Madison, Wisconsin and would like to know more about the history of the bicycle. Here are pictures that were sent to me from the seller.
Saw this on the Facebook Marketplace place and made a reasonable offer. Did my research on the year and believe it to be 70's based off the frame rear forks have two vs three going to the back tire. Also, the sprockets looked the same. Very disappointed to find it painted over the original green...
Looking for a straight fork for my Monark Rocket Bicycle. I have a double springer but haven't the right fork for it. Pictures down below of the bike, springer and an example of what I am looking for.
Thanks,
Brandyn
I just recently got this plate in and was informed it was a 1920's Richmond, Virginia Bicycle Plate. Does anyone know exactly which year in 1920s they did this style in?
