1955 Schwinn Girl's Bike. Baby blue cruiser, updated with many modern components: powder blue aluminum wheelset, Shimano Nexus 3-Spd rear hub, new chain, new grips, new pedals, new handlebar, new stem. I have new black tires with white walls if that is preferred. Nice riding cruiser bike with...
1941 Schwinn Admiral with many updated modern components: aluminum wheels, wide cruiser bike handlebars, new brooks B67 saddle (very comfy), modern bottom bracket conversion, new chain, new tires, new pedals, new chainring. Easy and fun riding cruiser bike with retro vintage style. I have over...
Nice patina on camelback frame (SN M205142), with green repaint and a little original blue showing in spots. Nice brass head badge. Slight bend on chain side seat-stay, rear drop outs good. Pre-war long spring saddle is a refurb with stitched repair on bottom side. Fork is appears to be correct...

I have had that same thought about buying a cheap cruiser bike. I've yet to locate one that's either cheap enough or in good enough condition. But I keep looking. Always looking for these wheels as they seem to be hard to find. Do you have a feeling for how much shipping would be to arizona?
Curious to know if you could provide a sideview photo of this frame with the sun on it. The first two photos are in shade and it is difficult to assess the patina. Thanks! David
Wow, thanks to all for the information, I never imagined there was so much to know about these wheels. I recently purchased two different wheels. One cost me five bucks at a used bike parts store (front) and the other (rear) cost 35 at another used store. I have no idea what the numbers or hubs...
Given that new ones start probably around 60 or 70 bucks, I'm hoping to pay less than that. Perfect is not a requirement for me, though I don't mind. I'm just not looking to pay a premium price. I think as the seller, you should tell me what you need to get for it and we can start from there.
Looking for a 26 inch coaster brake, single speed, unpainted aluminum rear wheel for a cruiser bike. Nothing special or vintage, just a serviceable wheel in good condition.
I've been gathering parts and assembling this bike and now it is finished. Not a faithful representation of the original, but somewhat modernized with converted bottom bracket, cranks, pedals, stem, handle bar, grips, and wheels. Rides really nice!
That's a pretty bike, I love the red rims (and the red, white, and blue theme). Nicely done! I recently changed out the front chainring for a 32 and the gearing was a bit stiff for my wife.
Thanks for thinking of me. Regards condition, I don't need pristine but would like it to be look reasonably good and be functional. This bike is intended to be a daily rider. Cheers!
Built this up for my wife for Christmas. No, it's not faithfully original. I put on a Shimano 3-spd rear hub, aluminum wheels, and a super comfy seat. And blue PNW grips, Happy wife, happy life!
