Can someone help me ID the bike frame of my Whizzer?

Thanks. It doesn’t, but the motor’s free. This has remained in “as found” condition. It was a local bike, built and ridden by the uncle of an old co-worker. The frame tube was altered. I have another, in a Panther frame, that required removal of the chain guard to fit. I forgot to add to the...

Can someone help me ID the bike frame of my Whizzer?

Hello everyone. I’ve had this Whizzer for over 30 yrs. and have never known what brand the bike started out as. The lower top tube was joggled to make additional room for the engine. No head badge, the serial number pictured is underneath the bottom bracket. I only see three digits, 212. Any...

Lets see your bicycle tool kits

Just bought this at an antique/buggy shop, in Vermont. The nice old Vet rang me up for $35, without negations, after we talked about our pasts. It was Veterans Day. He stated that the multi-tool was in the bag originally, but that he added the wrench. It’s similar, but not exact, to an Iverson...

What is this old boys bike part 2

I dig the reversed clamping of the gooseneck to the bars.

does this look like a bicycle license to you?

Not sure of the use but that design is a keystone. Pennsylvania is the Keystone State.

    Oukiarim 27 X 1 1/4 W/O Rear Wheel

Ok, thanks. Thought it was older than that by a decade, or so. Please disregard the post if it can’t be deleted. Thanks again, 1motime.

    Oukiarim 27 X 1 1/4 W/O Rear Wheel

Not sure if I’m in the right category but I have an unusual, to me, wheel I would like to know more about. Can anyone identify what it came off of by the hub and rim markings? I won’t need it and would like to find someone who does, eventually. Thanks, either way. -Thom

New Guy/First Post, with a Hercules Rim/Tire Size Question.

Thanks guys. We’re rollin’! 26-1 3/8, 590 ISO tires fit the 26-1 3/8 marked Araya rims. The Shcwalbe tires, I went with, are plenty of tire. As beefy as some 1.75’s I’ve seen. The bike is surprisingly smooth & quiet riding. Thanks again. -Thom & Jenny the moto pup.

New Guy/First Post, with a Hercules Rim/Tire Size Question.

Nothing besides psi/Taiwan/nylon, as far as tire markings go. I think it’s possible that the previous owner swapped out the wheels along with the bars/Hunt-Wilde grips. I probably overthought this. I ordered a set of 26-1 3/8 tires, as were on the bike. If they fit, great. If not, I’ll know what...

Anyone here own a Miami / Flying Merkel Bicycle?

Looks like what‘s on the bicycle, I just purchased. It’s a wooden wheeled model posted while asking a Hercules tire size question. It’s under the Classic Balloon Tire category.

I remember at least one was a 26-1 3/8”. I’ll look for anything else, tomorrow.

Thank you. Lotta’ grime, but little rust on the rims. I’ll be looking for those marks, today.

New Guy/First Post, with a Hercules Rim/Tire Size Question.

Thanks everyone. So it’s all about the ISO number, from here. I measured tires on the bikes I own and the 1.75‘s OD is the largest that’ll fit under the front fender. I just want as much tire under me as possible as it will see time on swapmeet fields and fairgrounds. Going to hang the Miami on...

I was able to upload photos from my smart(er than me) phone. Sorry for the wait.

New Guy/First Post, with a Hercules Rim/Tire Size Question.

I noticed today, that the rear is a Taiwan made 26 x 1 3/8”. Not the original, but probably the correct size. The front is unreadable under the crusty brush-on whitewalls. Thanks for all the replies. I’m working on the photos.

New Guy/First Post, with a Hercules Rim/Tire Size Question.

Hello everyone & thanks for having me. What a weekend! I came home from an estate sale with two beauties I’ve never seen before. I’m a vintage motorcycle guy, with a few bicycles in my collection, but nothing this cool. I apologize if I sound like a moron on this subject, thats why I’m here...
