A little trick I picked up from a pro painter some time ago. Once you make sure your marks are burnished down tight spray light coats of clear over them so any bleeding will be clear and not show, the clear acts as a seal too. Not sure if this is your issue but maybe it will help someone out...

Rick beat me to it, the part that is missing is called a quick release skewer. It comes with springs on both sides to keep the clamp and nut spread to make for ease of rear wheel fitment. Also look into donation to get a tax advantage next year. This link should help...

Agreed would need to see a straight on shot to be sure. I look at the cap between the fender and the frame of course, but look at the headlight and appears not to be level as in horizontal. Would it be level if the wheel were straight? I think that headlight is part of what we are picking up on.

Yes Rob, as you say, the brake and cable has to be in the middle. Check out this neat little (plated steel) triple cable stop.

Yes sir, I have found the Monark Rockets seat post to be .855" in diameter. So I take 7/8'' 6061 Aluminum bar or heavy wall 6061 aluminum tubing (in this case) and turn it down. The lathes tail stock has to be dailed in to turn a constant diameter over that length, ask me how I know?
