Not sure what year or model this skiptooth crank fits? And also, need info on this 3 speed Dana crank, as far as what year and bike it was originally made for, and if it's worth anything? Thanks in advance!!
Thank you Leon! You are truly a bank of knowledge and your willingness to share that knowledge is quite respectable good sir. I knew the blue Higgins had been modified with the non standard color repaint and graphics. But I didn't know about the tank not being original or the fender braces being...
Here is another pic of the Jet Flow.....the guard looks like it said 'Regal Deluxe', but I'm only finding Regal Deluxe under the Color Flows, at least that's what I'm seeing so far...so just not sure.
Thank you sir!! And I greatly appreciate your time, knowledge, and information!! Not sure how you veterans remember all these details, but I have nothing but respect for you guys!!
Happy Easter Everybody!! Found out last night that the serial number says this is a 1948, but I can't find any images under a 1948 Roadmaster that match this bike. It appears all original so now I'm confused. Any input would be greatly appreciated!!
WoW!! Very interesting information indeed. It's crazy how muddy things were back in the day and how the information is perceived in today's bicycle world. With myself being new to this hobby, everything is so confusing at this point so information like this is extremely helpful. And as you...
Is there a height difference between a 66 Fastback sissy bar and a normal 67 to 70 Stingray sissy bar? I know it's probably a dumb question, but I'm searching for the correct parts so I want to make sure I get the correct ones for this bike, plus I still have TONS to learn!!!
Found rear reflectors available for it, now curious if it's diameter is 1 3/8" or 1 3/4". Gauging off of yours, it 'looks' like 1 3/4", but pictures can be deceiving...
I wonder how it attaches? If you look at the last picture of the pictures that I posted of the bike, it's the rear of the bike showing the fender having a stud mounted through the fender where the reflector goes. And so far, the reflectors I'm seeing aren't designed to attach around that stud...
If you get a chance good sir, could you please take a picture of the reflector on the rear fender for me? I need to see what style it is so I can try to track one down. I would greatly appreciate it!! Thank you in advance!!
Another thing I noticed is there is no reflector on the back fender, another reason why I have been trying to find a picture of another one so I can see what is truly and actually supposed to be there...
Greetings everyone!! Hope everyone is well!! I need some help on this one, please....someone already mentioned to me that this bike is like, super rare. Several people in the bike world have told me that they have never seen one. So, after about 4 hours of searching on the internet for a picture...
Are the pedals on the 66's supposed to have large or small end caps good sir? And what is the proper height of the sissy bar supposed to be? So so much to learn I swear!! And this bike looks AmAzInG!!!!
Hey Sean....I'm still trying to find the serial number. Have you seen where I cleaned the bottom bracket? I'm not seeing and numbers besides that stamp. Any continued help would be appreciated sir!!
Man, I have so much to learn. Being new to all of this, I have to be more aware of what I am looking for and at, and to not fully rely on what a seller is telling me. I greatly appreciate your knowledge and time good sir. Any advice is greatly appreciated as well.
It's $875 plus shipping good sir. I did order a factory Schwinn overlaod tube and an oem shifter cable for it today. And I'll have the paperwork proving they are actual Schwinn parts. Where are you located sir?
Still very new here so hopefully it's ok to post this here. Very open to corrections in reference to any mistakes I make along the way as I learn the website and the rules. Just want to be as respectful as possible to every aspect of this site and all the members as well 😇
