I only have one…….but she’s a beauty. 1953 original!!! I believe this was the first time it has ever been ridden. The rest of the time, she spends inside my home but on a nice day, I couldn't resist riding her.….as she was built to do.
I agree with you And thanks for your comments. I’m very confident that she is a genuine person and I will make the best deal I can so that we both feel good about it…….I hope. Cheers!!
I thought the same thing looking at the pictures before I went to see it. When I saw it up close with a light it didn’t look as bad as what the pictures showed. Thanks.
Yes I did the same with the serial number. I think I will see if I can go back tomorrow and check the serial number out further. This certainly isn’t a slam dunk solid answer bike but I sure appreciate all the comments each way. It’ll help me look at it closer and see if we can come to an agreement.
Well…. She said her partner paid around $3000. She said she’d let it go for $2250 but that was when she thought it was an original 1957. She’s a reasonable lady and seems that she really wants to know what she’s selling for sure. Her partner was a wealthy man and he may have paid too much. Were...
Well…. She said her partner paid around $3000. She said she’d let it go for $2250 but that was when she thought it was an original 1957. Were the Schwinns on the tank and chain guard decals back then or were they painted on? Also, were the fenders riveted or bolted on their brackets?
Thanks so...
A widow advertised a bike as a 1957 all original Black Phantom. I went to look at it and found the serial number H1251 which by what I find is a 1961. But I didn’t think they made Black Phantoms in 1961?? The “Schwinn“ on the tank and chain guard are decals, the fenders are riveted instead of...
Can anyone give me a ballpark price on what a 1963 Schwinn trike is worth. Has original paint on the frame. It’s not something I would normally buy but I’m intrigued with this bike for some reason.
Thanks
Looking for a Roadmaster headlight
I’m looking for a correct headlight for my ‘54 Roadmaster Luxury Liner. Considering attending ML and could pickup there if that helps. If anyone has one they would part with, I would greatly appreciate it.
Hi gang
I thought I knew the year of my Roadmaster Luxury Liner but now I’m wondering. I can’t seem to find a chart online and thought I would reach out to ask someone in the know. The serial number is C37342
Thanks guys. Happy Easter 🐣
I started to disassemble my ‘47 Huffman(thanks again to the members that helped me identify it) I haven’t decided whether I will take the Whizzer parts off for my Schwinn Whizzer and rehab the bicycle or if i rehab it as a Whizzer. As you can see it’s pretty rough. Normally I would like to keep...
Lol that’s the plan. I have another H model project that hadn’t run in 20+ years and I tore it and the bike apart and now it is on the road. Thanks for your help!!
Hi
A couple members helped me determine that this bike is a Huffman. It looks like the serial numbers and maybe the production date numbers were stamped on top of each other. I cautiously believe that the serial numbers are 7H103872
Ive been looking for a chart but haven’t found one yet. I’m...
Thanks guys. Much appreciated! As you can probably tell, I’m not well versed in bikes but have developed a passion for the older ones and enjoy rehabbing them. I’m not sure if find a Huffman is a pro or a con but I’ll enjoy the journey anyway. Cheers!
Hi all
I picked up this project and it doesn’t have a badge on it and I haven’t been able to locate the serial number. If anyone can help steer me in the right direction I would greatly appreciate it. The Whizzer engine is an H model which would be 1947-48.
I would really like to give this old...
Hi Dave thanks for the offer. I'm new to the forum and can't figure out how to PM. I've read the instructions but that options to PM you doesn't show up when I click the avatar.
Hi
I have a 1941 CCM Rambler with a Pixie engine kit on it. I bought it as a project and I’m looking for a schematic of the rear hub assembly and was hoping someone would be able to point me in the right direction.
Thanks
Mark
Hi
I’m new to the forum and looking for some help. I have a Pixie Endor motor mounted on a 1941 CCM Rambler. I bought this as a winter project and am looking for a twist throttle for it. These were built in Montreal for a short period making parts and knowledge scarce. If anyone can steer me in...
