Dave, the lady said in her ad that she had the tire so that is a plus. I also think there is a slight blue coloring on the fork similar to the blue American. Thanks for the reply and now to see what her bottom dollar is.
Thanks. I have looked everywhere and the closest thing I have found is Iver Johnson. The bottom of the fender is shaped like one I seen, but foot pieces don't have the slots that the Johnson has nor the type of handlebars this one has. In fact, I haven't seen another that has the bar on the bars...
Thing about this thread is that a lot of us are like me---would have not known why it was worth that much if it hadn't been put out there and the great responses that explained why. Learn something every day here.
I want the drop stand and would like the two little double "hole" clips that were on the axle to hold the string that went to the rear fender. Just give me a price on them also. thanks
I have looked for what or where the strings that formed the skirt guard were anchored to or wrapped around next to the axle. I have looked at different bikes and can't see any picture that shows that. Was there a double hole piece that attached to the axle shaft and then the string run thru the...
Here is the serial number plus there is an 0 2 just above this. Have had several people interested in the plates and license -- I want to keep them with the bike.
Found local auctioneer who was having on line auction week or so ago. Had an old girls bike, that had the fenders for the string skirt guard and best of all 3 city license tokens with medal straps to hold them on the bike. Expiration dates are 1937, 1939 and 1941. On the back of the seat was one...

Just picked up a Firestone junior super cruiser tricycle at flea market. Handle bars are about knee high. Wondering what time period they were made. madeThanks in advance.
I just found a 24 inch girls Roadmaster Skyrider that is missing the front fender light. Since I am new at collecting, I think the fender is what is known as peaked as it comes to basically a point on the top. I can't find any serial number but may when I get down to looking harder. Is there a...
Not any help for what your looking for, but in a local antique shop yesterday they had what were suppose to be spoke reflectors that looked like your looking for. These were about quarter or little bigger--don't remember if they were the small or high bumps. They were clear. Since I had...
Has anyone bought a bike from hogshunting on ebay? If so , wondering how well it was packed. I know that it could be well packed before shipping and the shipper do a bad handling job, but just scare to have one shipped.
