I needed a bike stand for working on my recently acquired and impossible to identify Triumph muscle bike. I found a clamp arm on eBay and mated it to some aluminum T-slot extrusions I had remaining from other projects. Height is easily adjustable using T-slot and the clamp can be rotated 90 degrees.
Below is the second batch of parts from the 1938 Colson that I decided to part out.

A well used ELDI crossmember. Somewhere in it's hard life there was a nut brazed over a stripped pad, and the other pad ground off. A new threaded pad has been silver brazed on to it, and the nut over the second pad removed. It will need a threaded insert. Price is $50 shipped in the CONUS. Or...

I'm not a drop stand expert. So i took a measurement of the base to the top. This measures 13.5".
I stripped some of the house paint off as it was flaking off any way. Condition is nice as it was painted for all these years. No rust and if you used a little elbow grease i think it wld be polish...
Previous seller stated this was a NOS 26” drop stand. Maybe... maybe not.

So I have went long enough with out a bike stand to clean and work on my bikes I'd like to ask the experts on there opinions and reviews in which stands they use and like best, I have ran across a few, and I have found a used Park stand locally that folds up and looks like it's in great shape...
I believe this is for a 28” bike, please correct me if I am wrong.
Previous owner stated it was for a 26” but does not fit any of my 26” bikes. Too long to engage in clip properly.
