Finally riding a big boys bike
Long story short, I bought this as an “original” bike. It wasn’t, so I sold the repro parts and planned to build it into a klunker. I’ve got too many projects at the moment and I won’t get to this one anytime soon, so here it is.

Most of the paint looks original, but the decals have been replaced and everything appears to have been clear coated. Typical scratches and scrapes.

Includes frame with oval headbadge, chain guard, locking springer fork, rear rack, and repro green grips.

$400 shipped, PayPal F&F.

The bottom bracket conversion setup is not included.

Thanks!

Unusual in that the metallic color wasn't offered until 1954...just goes to show how
Schwinn used frames a year or two old on their latest line. This particular bike would not have
been sold until 1954

Just a note, I do not want to sell any of these parts separately. I may negotiate on the price but it’s all or none. Thanks.

Most likely, it's 1954's Opalescent green b/c There's two potential sets of serial numbers beginning C77, And, that's a 54 "New style' springer too.

1952: 06/20 to 06/26 ------- C52333 ------------------ C89736

1953: 11/13 to 11/25 ------- C72581 ------------------ C99143 (which would mean it's an 54 bike, 53's xmas at earliest)

Got to be one heck of an hard to find color on a Panther. With frame, chainguard, springer and rack all matched, prob dang hard to put these together if ya only had a frame too!

Hmmm [emoji848]...I think I have a set of straight bar tanks in that color combo... I will look [emoji102] when I get home
