Riding a '38 Autocycle Deluxe
Ladies and gentlemen! One of the crown jewel picks of this year. This ca. 1957 Tonka No 5 Fire Truck features a 1952-56 Ford cab, and a feature packed trailer.

The hydraulic ladder still works like new, turn the crank and the second rung extends! The ladder rotates a full 360 degrees! Includes extra third rung!

Incredible details! Beautiful paint and graphics, with just the right amount of patina! No rusted, bent, broken, or missing parts!

This came from the original owner, always played with and stored indoors!

$200 OBO + shipping from Ohio. This truck is BIG, HEAVY, and does NOT come apart. More pics upon request.

Nice looking original - I was never really into that stuff as a kid..........but that is sorta kool !!!

very kool, would be hard to ship and not get it damaged, its 2 bad shippers are such ass holes

This would only go FedEx with full insurance. Wrapped in a thick layer of shrink wrap, then surrounded by bubble wrap, then the entire box filled with packing 4” all around. Box reinforced. Labor intensive to pack but boy I really do not want a 60 year old classic truck destroyed under my watch.

Thank you! I love finding stuff like this. The original owner was an old contact of mine, only sold to me because he knew what I dealt in and that his cherished truck would find a home with a collector.

Also, that I am very careful with and a respect for vintage items. Evidenced by the 1963 Fairlane remains I hauled away three years ago.

He still remembered where he got it and when. A special birthday present from his mom in 1957, picked up at a local department store.

Imagine finding another with the siren, light and ladder seat......i'd say very difficult if not impossible

Indeed! The variation with “TFD” on the trailer and the earlier style cab is a somewhat rare combo from what I’ve researched. The ladder is usually bent and twisted, and the third pull-out rung gone.
