Riding a '38 Autocycle Deluxe
Very cool, and well loved, tin 1964-‘66 Mustang coupe by Bandai, made in Japan. Uses x2 C-Cell batteries.
Body has a fine patina, with good chrome. Various scratches and small rust spots. One tiny dent under the driver side light on the deck lid. Tires are good, windows are good. Overall, it’s a pretty neat display piece.
I have tested it, and gone through the inside. I have power at all connections but the motor and both lights are burned out. Needs a full mechanical restoration. Battery lid also missing. If it worked, it would go forward, turn left and right, and activate the red lights as turn signals.
Fairly rare toy, most of these were friction cars.
$35 shipped.
