Am adding some information to new-member @Upmann 's sales thread ...
Because I have received numerous fone questions and PM's about the
dropstand on this beautiful Ambassador ... I would like to respond without
actually bogarting the thread. The dropstand IS NOT A DAVIS-BUILT.

For those in the readership of this thread ... the Ambassador is sporting a
dropstand built by the same company that built the bicycle ... The Emblem
Mfg. Co. ... in Angola, NY.

The company built fine motorcycles as well as bicycles.

Since I first ventured into the world of antique and classic bicycles 1982 +/- ...
this is only the SECOND one of these Emblem-Built dropstands I've ever peeped.

Forged from pure Unobtainium -- they be.

And you thought the Davis-Built dropstands were a tough find ?

Even the traces of rust on one of these things has a sky-high content of Impossibilium.

The stand on the emblem motorcycle and this bicycle are NOT the same. The motorcycle stand is much, much heavier, and wider. Also, the motorcycle stand has a gusset at each of the two inner bottom corners.
