1,2,3 -ID this bike!-GO!

Hello,
I was offered this bike to purchase and I am having difficulty identifying it...I believe it is a Westfield made frame, around 1938 or so. Repainted? It seems to have an incorrect badge (Mead Crusader) and possible the wrong year chainguard (with a Ranger sticker?). Can anyone ID this bike? Also, the frame has an unusual "truss" bar near the neck...Any ideas?

It's a tall frame Westfield Built Ranger. I have a few of these frames.

Extra bar is just to the strengthen frame. Took a locking peanut tank.

all the quick replies!! It is appreciated. So, it seems to be a tall frame, Westfield built Ranger which should have a locking peanut tank. Any idea on whether this is a repaint? The blue bike posted has a different paint scheme...Thanks for all the help!

Yes i would say its a repaint.Still a nice looking bike
