Just picked up this old tricycle.Seen a couple on google but no real info as to the maker.Everything seems original .Has a D on front casting and Patented.Anyone have any info?
These are definitely the real deal and not decorative reproductions! Always amazes me how some of these children's ride-on toys have survived for well over 100 years. I'm guessing these date to around 1870 or so. Not sure when the first wood frame trikes like these were made for kids.
