Brian R.
Wore out three sets of tires already!
Before you jump on me for cleaning the badge instead of leaving the "patina", all of the parts below were caught in a garage fire. The badge was covered in black soot, and the leather on the saddle shrank in the heat. If you want to see the "before pics" go to post #1 in the thread "White Sewing Machine Co. Page." These bikes have (I believe) a seat post unique to White SM Co. so if you need one with the matching saddle hardware - this is it. The leather on the saddle is done, but the wood base survived the fire intact and all the hardware is there. There is a tad of melted plastic on the saddle springs. The crankset is a mess - there is wear on one side of the axle causing the arms to be misaligned, and the pedals are jammed on the arms. Maybe they were the wrong thread and someone forced them on? still, if your chainring is worn or you could use the axle screws or bearing cone cylinders, they're here. Located in Toronto Canada, but will be transported to 2023 Copake. If you're desperate for this stuff but can't make it to Copake we can talk about a shipping quote. Since I'm forced to post with prices, I'll throw some on in US dollars. They can go down but can't go up ....hmmm, how about:
White Sewing Machine Co. badge, 2 pieces with some wear: $125 - Reduced to 100
White seat post, hardware, and Ladies saddle combo: $200 - Reduced to 150
White crankset with fire soot, misaligned arms, and jammed on pedals, for parts or repair: $80 - Reduced to 50
If you buy some parts and want the frame (rusted in the snow after the fire) you can have that for free delivered to Copake.
The CABE format won't let me post a Canadian postal code so I put in a zip code from Buffalo, NY, just across the border. The actual postal code is M4C 4Y3, in Toronto Canada.
