Cruisin' on my Bluebird
Surviving example of an originally fully nickel plated (both rims also) G&J AMERICAN LIGHT CHAMPION Ordinary High Wheel bicycle, their finest machine made.

Serial number 9083 stamped on top of steering head and 52 stamped on left side of steering head plate.

Bicycle is in very straight condition.

It is fitted with the optional cow horn bend handle bars with spade grips.

Retains all original spokes and nipples, unique hollow rims in excellent condition with no dents or wobbles, 7 cross front hub spoke pattern, one pedal had been replaced long ago with another high wheel type pedal, original spade hand grips are cracked, G&J's WONDER SADDLE (hammock saddle) with it's seat leather being recovered back in 1962, black worn out incorrect cab tire rubber was installed in the 1950's so the bicycle could be ridden in parades and, other than that, retains all original parts.

Note that in 1891 and 1892, G&J went away from using the earlier jello mold front wheel hubs and now used smooth dished hubs in their last couple of years of production.

Original dust shield will be included with the purchase and is not shown in photos on bicycle.

$7500

I can arrange a reasonable shipper and box at an additional cost.
