Cruisin' on my Bluebird
Pretty nice Mesinger Men's saddle. Has the woven rattan underneath. The wood frame at the rear is stamped "Hulbert Bros. & Co." on one side and "Mesinger Bros. Pat. 1895" on the other side. I personally wouldn't ride this saddle because the rattan looks so fragile, even though the leather would probably take the load.
It is definitely a fantastic display piece. These were used on quite a few 1890s bicycles such as Crawford.
Measures 10" x 9"
Asking $375 shipped to anywhere in the lower 48 states only.
Thanks.
