Wore out three sets of tires already!
Having owned this bike for nearly a decade now, I think the time has come to finally clean it up and assemble it. I expect it will make a great winter project.
This bike was manufactured by the Warwick Cycle Co in Springfield, Mass circa 1895. The seller guessed it was 1896, but literature I have found (attached) indicates the model 25 was part of Warwick's 1895 line.
I acquired this bike from an Ebay seller in upstate NY, who had found it in rural CT. This is the only photo I have of it in one piece. The frame/fork/wheels are boxed up. If memory serves, the frame is a 24". It has the vermillion rims with soldered spokes. Tires were made by the Boston Woven Hose and Rubber Co and are still supple. Here are photos of some of the other parts. The saddle is in amazing condition. All of the nickel parts should polish up well. I had already started on the bars.
