Wore out three sets of tires already!
Having owned this bike for nearly a decade now, I think the time has come to finally clean it up and assemble it😁. I expect it will make a great winter project.

This bike was manufactured by the Warwick Cycle Co in Springfield, Mass circa 1895. The seller guessed it was 1896, but literature I have found (attached) indicates the model 25 was part of Warwick's 1895 line.

I acquired this bike from an Ebay seller in upstate NY, who had found it in rural CT. This is the only photo I have of it in one piece. The frame/fork/wheels are boxed up. If memory serves, the frame is a 24". It has the vermillion rims with soldered spokes. Tires were made by the Boston Woven Hose and Rubber Co and are still supple. Here are photos of some of the other parts. The saddle is in amazing condition. All of the nickel parts should polish up well. I had already started on the bars.

Thanks! I can't easily get to the box I have the bike stored in. Let me see if I can find the photos the seller originally sent me. The might be on my old laptop

Great looking bicycle. Warwick Model 25 is 1895 only. Here are some references.

From January 4, 1895 issue of The Referee:
1740171

From August 29, 1895 issue of The Evening Times (Washington DC) listing a Warwick Model 25 bicycle with serial number 34973 as stolen. This would make yours a 1895 with serial number 30502.

Some pages from 1895 Warwick Catalog:

This is amazing stuff. Thanks so much for posting! The weights of the bikes in the 1895 line are impressive. They are light even by modern standards, yet not a shred of aluminum or carbon fiber. The Model 25 was the cheapest bike in the line, but $80 was a lot of money in 1895.

If I ever want to ride this bike, I'll have to have a set of wheels built. The original rims are dry and have de-laminated in several spots. They are suitable only for display
