1898 Wayman question

Hello,
I've recently started the process of bringing my 1898 Wayman back to life. I started taking the bike apart over the weekend. I'm excited about working on this bike. It's almost all complete. The only thing missing are the pedal bearings. It should make a fun rider. Unfortunately, I've been unable to figure out how to take apart the cranks. I was wondering if any of my fellow Cabers might have some insight on how to remove these cranks.

Looks like some kind of key way that has to be pushed back out. Give it a good soaking in your favorite rust remover and take your time. Don't get hammer happy.
