1900-Teens 24” Elyria value?

-

Drosentreter

I live for the CABE
Any idea what this is worth? I presume it is very rare being a children’s girls bike from the early 1900s-teens

Pictures as promised…
Really wondering 2 values:
What is the value in this condition?
What is the complete, restored value?

Current value: $75-100 but it would be a tough sale unless you get a Colson fanatic. If I saw this when I was out picking for $25, I would keep walking.
Restored: sorry, you would be upside down with the missing parts you need to do it properly and the nickel plating. Maybe $350-450 depending how well it is done. Getting a proper wood wheelset and tires would cost you about that amount.

So keep it with some mismatched parts that look correct to the person who doesn’t know about biles, and painted 20” wheels for my kids to ride someday, or sell it as is to a Colson guy. What’s the year on it? Any ideas?

Looks like a 24” wheeled Colson lug frame, and might postulate that the Colson undersized bearing parts might be worth something to someone missing those parts.
However, not sure if Colson had even smaller undersized bottom bracket crank hangers, for the size bicycle pictured?
The bottom bracket shown in the 10th picture might not be compatible with the frame in the brochure picture in post #8.
The headset, if ~29mm cups, might fit another Colson lug frame fork/head tube.
