Just for clarification, the Model #72 is listed as a chain and not the track "Racer". ( you listed this as a "Track Racer" )

The actual Columbia "Racer" was 1902 and it was the Model #83.

Their other factory built "Racer" before 1902 was 1898 Model #49

Columbia did not build a Racer in 1899, 1900 or 1901 as per their catalogues.

Check out Mr. Columbia's web site for the information. ( I do have the 1902 catalogue but not the 1901 )

Good luck with the sale - it's a nice looking bike! ( also - your bike appears to have a brake and not fixed as a Track Racer is )

If you would like to see their factory built "Racer's" for 1898 or 1902 then let me know, I have both.
