Nice bike, the Wheelmen site lists that company in Chicago. I have that same American Bicycle Company sticker on my 1901 Nyack. A.B.C. was formed, as a trust, by Colonel Pope, ( Westfield & Columbia ). I believe that he took over more than fifty bicycle companies that year to get rid of the competition, evidently slapping those stickers on all the bikes. American Bicycle Company was dissolved the following year.
