Cruisin' on my Bluebird
This is an original front black painted wood rim off of a 1901 men's Pierce bicycle. These had very unusual front hubs. The rim itself is slightly narrow like a race rim (1-1/8" wide) and with some proper spoke tension, it could be made completely true. Wood is in very good shape including the joint. The hub shell is in good shape and is missing one spoke. The shell needs complete innards ( cones, axle, and bearings). The tire is great for display, but if you want to ride it, it would need valve stem repair.
