Sold 1902 Crescent model 38

Found this in a barn loft at a friends place. Bike appears to be 100% complete with some minor damage. ( Right grip and fender...wooden rims need straightened ) Paint is about 80% gone, but all rust is surface. Frame, crank, and forks are all straight and everything spins easily and freely including the pedals. I'd love to see this bike go to someone who values Crescents/toc bikes and will restore this. Every nut, screw, and bolt is free and threads are near perfect. I was careful not to clean too much nor did I open either bearing housings. Asking 1400 obo. Will ship at buyers expense. Trying again on finding a home for this beautiful complete 1902 Crescent. With exception of a rideable wheelset, I have all the original pieces, the wooden rims were unsavable. Look through pics. This bike has every nut and bolt that was original to its birth. Everthing is in tact diwn to every thread. The paint was 90% gone on the frame. I removed what was left and shot it with a thin coat of matte black for preservation. Nothing else was removed, all nickel plating is original and just cleaned mildly. Everything has been cleaned thoroughly and regreased. All felt seals are in tact in every bearing race (crank, steering tube, and wheel hubs). New Departure model A hubs. I believe the bars, grips, and seat are Wheelman. Fabricated new felt for inside chainguard, as the okd one was almost gone. Fender paint is untouched and original. This bike is very rideable with a new wheelset. No bends, breaks, or cracks. Everything spins and moves freely. Block chain is rust free and every link moves nicely. Saddle leather is old and cracked, but all there. A very rare complete bike. Nothing has been cannibalized from it.
