Riding my '38 Deluxe Bluebird
Picked this one up a few weeks ago, worked on it some and added a few items such as the correct rack, but no time to finish this FM as I already have my hands (and wallet) full with my first one....so here is your chance to own a cool orange Flying Merkel. 
Paint is not original, and would have the decal/sticker headbadge, not a metal one (no holes on headtube).
Fender braces are too long, especially on front.
Crank has threads that need work and it's missing the crank bearings/cones etc.
Rear hub is a nice (patent date 1908) Atherton coaster brake that seems to work well.
Rack is correct Miami, and I think I may be able to locate a set of attaching brackets, but probably not to hard to make as they're pretty simple pieces.
Have most pedal pieces/frames, no blocks, missing one shaft.
Seat is correct Troxel Tip Top, but top is shot. Have a replacement Troxel top, but it's not a Tip Top one.
Tires and wheel are modern, and are good for riding if you are Ok with the style.
