Riding a '38 Autocycle Deluxe
It was suggested to me recently that this was possibly a Waverly bicycle however as yet It I have not verified this. Fairly visible head badge shadowing, horizontal holes approx 2 1/8" apart. Serial stamped on left top of seat tube. Additional markings on bottom bracket lower.
Here are some details and dimensions I gathered...
28" wheel bicycle with 22" seat tube top to bb center.
7 1/8" head tube
Eyelet end fork with 3.25" hub spacing, 1" x 30tpi thread and 8 1/4" steering tube top of crown to top of tube.
7pc head set and loose.185" balls
22t skip tooth chainring slot style drive
1 pc 6 1/2" dog leg crank with dimple
BB cup shoulder diam 1.95"
9pc bb set
Seatpost 1.05" diam 6 3/8" longest 3 7/16" top .625" diam
Center stem .870" diam 5 1/4" length .314" square drive stem bolt
Bars 23"w diam at w/shim .970" actual diam .880"
Sleeve and end caps of cork grips remain!
28" rain gutter fenders with flat braces.
