I think “SPRIN” is pretty clear, once you have an idea what to look for. I’m not trying to be wright here, and still I could be wrong. In fact, I thought it was a NARROW seat at first glance. However, that first letter is definitely not an “N” and I believe this is a “SPRINTER “ saddle. Only my opinion. Anthony

thanks Guys,
Sprinter makes a lot more sense
no cutout tabs for a toolbag on my saddle denoting a real short distance racing saddle.

To me it looks like sprinter, but I suppose I could be wrong. View attachment 872713
Where did you see that saddle Anthony? I would like to buy 2 like those!
My bikes are dated 1926. This saddle would be perfect until I find one old one.
I could ride my bikes with that saddle on.

Try VeloBase.com or you can google Brooks B17 Sprinter and all sorts of stuff pops up. Good luck buddy. Anthony

Looking at your catalog it shows measurements of the Sprinter saddle so if you wanted you could measure to confirm.
yes, I checked the measurements, and my saddle is definitely an original Sprinter.
the bike was owned by a Canadian Racing champion. and it's a 1926!
it remained in intact condition from 1926 in the families basement.
I also have his second bicycle (serial number are sequencial) that has a replacement saddle

I have one of those in my collection. not the correct profile for the bikes I am trying to complete
Oh I know, that saddle is the first on the list but when you scroll down you see the Sprinter. Looks like you found one though, yes they are not cheap. Would love to see some pics of your old racers. As you know I have a couple as well, IJ.
