Lets not forget Premier bicycles used this one as well. But in 1/2" pitch on the bikes I've seen.
How does this happen. They all contracted the same manufacturer?
 
The one on the Amazon in your picture is on a cottered crank. I think it would be a different sprocket on one piece cranks.
 
I would like to buy an orignal rusty version of this sprocket. There found a replated one and the price is ok, but I would rather buy a rusty one than a replate. Whats the odds of being able to trade a replate for an orignal?

There probably weren't as many parts suppliers, especially after the turn of the century "bicycle bust".
