Harold (Pete) Allen

Finally riding a big boys bike
This is a bicycle with a documented story. All my research and info goes with the bike. I got the bicycle from my wife's 90 year old cousin whom is still living. I have documented the bike from 1937 when he got the bike (it was used). Apparently it was purchased at the Montgomery Wards store in Fort Scott, Ks. in 1929. He did major modifications on it after the war (paint, wheels, tires, fenders, kick stand, etc.). I have put it back the way it was in 1938 (see picture), with 28" fenders, wheels, tires, drop stand, etc. I have upgraded it with a "Flyer" tank, which was an option in 1929.

Anyone know who owns this bike? I would love to get a close up picture of the tank decal.
