1930's Designer for Shelby Bicycles

Does anyone know who the designer was for Shelby during the late 1930's and early 40's?

I've found a good amount of info about some of the famous industrial designers like Harley Earl, Alexis de Sakhnoffsky and others, but haven't been able to tie any of them specifically to Shelby. The Airflow and Arrow were amazing designs and surely came from a top industrial designer from that era.

Any ideas?

I've always thought the Shelby's were kinda klunky. My best guess is they were done in house by someone with a finger on the pulsebeat of contemporary modern design. If a major industrial designer was responsible they'd be shouting it from the rooftops.
