Wore out three sets of tires already!
Just picked up this 1930s Hiawatha. Not too sure about what model, year it is. If anyone knows about this bike, would you please chime in? Any additional info would be appreciated if you know about it. Is there any pronted literature available that i can access?

1939 or 1940 Shelby built for Gambles stores. Looks like the guard and tank might have been touched up at some point. Headlight is incorrect. Should be a delta frontloader. But overall a really great bike. I call these the long tank since it extends past the seat post toward the rear fender. Neat bike. I'd just swap headlights and ride it. Has the correct lobdell seat, wrong grips, no big deal. Throw on some coke bottles and you're good to go.
 
Looks like it has a no leg rack they strengthened a bit. great long tank, I had a Western Flyer version but had bigger fenders
