Finally riding a big boys bike
I found this bike in the woods behind my friends farm in VT. Literally dig it out of the ground. Part of the handle bars was the only thing above ground. Can anyone help me with what kind it is. The frame shape tells me it’s either a victory, rambler, just not sure because victory and rambler have the head badge name. This bikes badge only has Westfield & Westfield Mfg. any help would be great. Thanks

Hi,

There should be two sets of numbers and letters on the bottom of the crank tube. If you can tell us one or both of those, we can date it fairly accuratly for you, which will help with the model.

The formats will be something like A123456 and B12

Best Regards,

Adrian

Thanks Adrian. Unfortunately bottom of crank tube severely rusted.

I have a Westfield with that frame style and chainring. Mine is badged Peerless though. I guess they are all just budget-model Columbias.
