1933 tandum rear steer

Would a 1933 colson rear steer bicycle have chrome pedal cranks and sprockets? Am trying to restore. Hard to find origial parts but I'm trying

Yes, Colson Tandems from the 1930's were chrome plated not nickel plated.

You see the ad! The later frames had CGs for sure ( I call the frames early and late but there maybe more) @fordmike65 may know!

Tom, that is Correct, the earlier version of Colson Tandems 1933 to maybe 1936ish did not have chain guards.

Later Colson Tandems around 1936ish to 1940's pre-war era did have chain guards and a more curvy frame (photo below). I don't believe Colson continued tandem production after WW2 but I could be incorrect.

Colson started putting chain guards on their Tandems in 1938 or 39.
