I'm no expert but it does appear to be pretty original compared to others I have seen. Paint looks original as well.

I would say yes original because who would put red stripes, and drill holes in the rack if they knew it was worth 10k.?

Read his description. I think it has been at least partially repainted. Also he notes all the red is reflective tape. It may be possible to save the original paint but I’d probably just leave it as is instead of creating a mess. V/r Shawn

Check for overspray, esp. on the bearing races/cups. the color differential could be from sun-fade and the area under the box being darker-very good for a rattle can job. Also check for chips that might reveal a darker blue beneath. Nice bike either way

I was wondering how those rear fender reflectors are attached. Adhesive or more holes drilled?
