I don’t think the peaked or bayonet type is correct.
It’s hard to tell from the various pictures of 36 Commanders, but they all look like the broken one, which also looks like the ones in Bikewhorder Chris’s comparison photo.

Unless the Commanders used a different crank arm than the standard production crank, the 36 I pictured should be it.

Same as the one on Chris' 36.
