I believe this would be a 38 at the earliest. I've come to understand (this may not be gospel mind you) that 36 and 37 had the narrow space between bars that would not accommodate a tank. I've got a 37 pictured below. You can see how the bottom arch meets in the joint of the head tube and down tube vs fully on the down tube. The serial number is a pretty tried and true means of dating a CWC.
I believe I convo’d you with the year and other info on this model bike.
Currently as it sits, the chain guard is not correct. The before pic had the correct one. Also, the before fork is the correct one. I’m guessing the serial number to begin with the letter “D”
The stem is also wrong. The before picture had the correct stem.
