1936 Monark Silver King - Tank anyone?

Hi Everyone,

I am toying with the idea of a tank on my '36 Monark Silver King.
Has anyone ever played with that idea? If so, photos are appreciated along with any details available.

There is a cataloged tank you could buy and add to your silver king. Back in the 30s. I know a few people on the Cabe have them. Maybe someone will post a photo.

Very interesting how it surrounds the bottom bar and covers it completely... gives the bike a whole different look.

Those are really different looking. We're these an aftermarket manufacturer's item?
I'm assuming there's a slot in front and back that allows it to surround the bottom frame crossbar tube? Are they steel or aluminum? Any chance we could get some dimensions? 1. Overall width (appears to be same front to back) 2. Height up front
