Finally riding a big boys bike
1936 Schwinn Autocycle Super Deluxe for sale
This one owner bike was sadly taken apart for a repaint it didn't need by the original owner and only partially completed before his passing. In the process of cleaning out his house by his family some of the parts went missing. What remains is what you see. The rear fender still has it's original black and cream paint with red stripes in very good shape with it's original flat braces still firmly riveted on. The jeweled tank still has it's original decals but they have been sanded slightly in preparation of a repaint. The solid tank is repainted around the sanded decals. The frame and fork are repainted by the original owner and the paint work looks like a home made job. Here is a rundown of what this package includes:

- Frame ( repainted ) w/ serial# V07388 and badged as a "Fields" and includes a very rare original badge
- Fork ( repainted ) with straight back working lock and the original key
- Jeweled tank with original sanded decals and the rest repainted in very good shape no rust or bondo w/ working door and latch. No battery tray and all four jewel straps in place. Plastic repop jewels w/ Schwinn script
- Rear fender w/ very good original paint and pin stripes. Original flat braces w/ original rivets holding them on
- Dual Seiss lights w/ twist on bezels complete with reflectors, glass lenses, bulb holders and truss rod bracket
- Original fender bomb ( no re-pop here / hollow inside )
- Chrome rear rack w/ ok original chrome and rear brace. Forward "U" shape brace missing
- Original, correct rear rack glass reflector w/ mounting cup
- Original speedometer cable which is longer for the crossbar set up
- Correct curved Miller kick stand
- Decent W/W Goodyear G-3 tires

My good friend ( Dan ) was neighbors and best friends with the owner's son and had plans of correctly finishing the restoration. In that process he had bought five things for this project which explains the repop tank jewels as the originals were some of the missing parts. The five purchased items not truly original to this bike are the tank jewels, rare "Fields" headbadge, the Miller kick stand, the repop tank straps and the Goodyear W/W G-3 tires.
Would prefer to sell complete as a package hoping somebody else would complete. Dan is taxed time wise to finish this project as he is traveling overseas quite a bit right now.
$4200 shipped or best reasonable offer.

Thanks,
Greg M.

The bike is located in Chicago. I have returned the PM's sent but would prefer direct e-mails as mentioned. The package also comes with half of the double adjustable stem. ( the straight part that goes in the fork ) Here are some more pictures as requested.

Thanks,
Greg M.
