I picked this one up about 10 years ago and have done very little to it since. I'm not really that familiar with pre war schwinns, but I believe this is a 1936 double bar roadster model BA - 67. Please correct me if I'm wrong. It has a nice sweaty look to it with plenty of patina. Recently Bobcycles sold one very similar to this, almost identical. It has the straight back cyclelock forks like his also. When I received this bike it did not have a badge on it and I was told it could be an Excelsior and put this badge on it but the badge shadow is slightly different and I believe it takes the early profile badge similar to the one on Bobcycles bike. The only things I added to the bike was put the badge on it, replaced the tires which were shot, and found a key for the cyclelock (It is an original Arnold Schwinn and co. Yale junior key but does not turn the lock). The bike is in pretty good condition for its age and the only real issues are that the fenders have many dents and dings, The front wheel has rust that has gone through in one area, And the stem is slightly bent and the bolt seems to be stuck where it's at (this is how i got it, I tried to tap it down but didn't want to mess with it too much). The original seat is in nice shape and still has a lock on it that has been there for who knows how long (no key for this lock). This is an awesome bike and has a great look to it. Was $1200, price drop now $1000. NOW $800! Plus shipping or pick up in Mass. Feel free to ask any questions Paul
