Riding a '38 Autocycle Deluxe
From recent travels and literally barn fresh was mounted on a true "farm bike" B10 type bicycle.
Has certainly served some use. Lever is functional, but as is occasionally the case with these..
one or both of the "turrets" or cable guides, was damaged or broke off and a facsimile repair
for continued functionality was made. The small 'plate' attached could easily be ground off
revealing the contour of the pivot part of the lever, and a good fabrication guy could add the
missing 2 cable guides. The lever in any shape is a rare and often "key" ingredient to a
deluxe late 30's Schwinn build. Original cable is frayed...but you could easily trim back
some of the hard to find original cable housing, clip the fray and you're in business.
Or simply replace with a fresh new inner cable. Most of the cloth is intact, aside from
a few inches area of wheel rub through to the metal casing.

Shipping quote is PRIO mail w/o insurance.... Insurance for your preference amount would be added to mailing cost.
As you see it for the D or ND

I would also offer the same part with one side of the cable guide broken off for an additional
100 bux. Maybe an easier fix than the one on board.

Thanks all! ND yet...on our way... fun project to turn into the 1500.00 lever for a
big discount with a little TLC fabrication effort!
