On Training Wheels
Do you like the idea of electric bicycles but hate riding around on something younger than WWII? This rat rod has all the uniqueness you crave with more power than you need.

I started this build back in 2020. It's been a daily riding for much of that time since then. Currently set up running about 2000w from the rear motor and 850w up front. Has enough range that I've taken it on 45 mile crawls. Tops out at around 35mph and gets there at a good pace.

Notable features of this build:
-bike sports double throw 3 way switch for dialing back power to both motors at once.
-bafang geared fwd motor running approx 850w in unrestricted mode
-direct drive rear motor running approx 2000w in unrestricted mode
-battery is a 52v battery with 23ah capacity from Em3ev. Battery alone cost about $800 including shipping.
-battery has just under 135 charge cycles on it and still strong and reliable!
-Regen braking enabled by the motor controller for the rear motor
-custom fork made from monark and spaceliner fork parts
-TRP Spyre brake calipers (both pads clamp the rotor despite being mechanical calipers)
-Will throw in 1920s Stewart Warner Ooga horn!
-Blow you kids minds when its whizzing by, knock old peoples dentures out when its standing still!
-new Schwalbe Fat Frank tires (and one extra spare)

**no modifications to the frame outside of widening the rear dropouts enough for a nexus 7 speed hub. If someone wanted to take off the ebike stuff they would still be able to run this as a normal bike.

Pay the price in the ad and you'll get a few of prewar parts and goodies as well as extra e-bike parts too, but BO's entertained

Feel free to ask any and all questions

-Tad
