offered here is a '1937' schwinn hockey stick chain guard for a curved frame. this guard would actually fit any prewar schwinn with a curved downtube (head to bottom bracket). by mid 1937 the small wing guard was pretty much standard fare. this guard was available for lesser models or those bikes that never had a guard. note it has 4 holes to allow the dealer to move the guard front bracket for bike needing it. it is set up for a curved frame right now. it is a chrome guard but the finish is very weak and shows wear-not abuse. no major dents or dings or crank grinds to speak of. shows wear in area crank dragged along raised area 'rib' but not the end of crank marks that over time go thru the guard! great for a 6-8 patina'd rider. looks like it had silver paint on it-much worn away, not really hiding rust surface-good honest wear-great for a rider with a little character!
