Yes--if I get a chance this weekend I'll try to get some pics of the washer and suspension hardware.
Thanks, I started with just a bunch of Twin Flex spring hardware and not sure how it all goes together. Will post pictures
when I get it together. Not sure of the year, the fork numbers are 49 and has a straight down tube. The fenders are peaked Huffman with flat braces that will need to be modified to work. I have the correct tank, carrier, wheels, seat and chainguard.

So @facair55 sent me a pic of his rear fork brackets. I always assumed there was only one type but evidently there are at least two types. One with ears or tabs and one without. Both of my original’38 bikes and my fairly original’40 have the no tab versions while my ‘40 project that was pieced together has the tabs. Anyone have any thoughts on this? @John @npence @New Mexico Brant @cyclingday

Mine is a 38 and has NO tabs. Gary

The tabs were also cut off at the factory on the early second version of the Flex. Later ones there is no sign of where the tabs were. I think the tabs were left over from the early 38 (Death bike style) The early version flex needed stops and 2.0 flex the perch stop over travel.

Just got this one! Disassembled and started cleaning for reassembly. A1972 under BB, and 2 9 on fork. MORROW hub is dated G4. So a February 1939 with a 4th quarter 1937 hub. It’s chocolate brown with straw/custard points and red pins. LAFRANCE badge is super clean. I’ll post updates as I go.

I believe that chocolate color is actually a deep maroon.
