I have what I think to be a Snyder built 1938 Hawthorne, Comet or possibly Zep, or similar. Original paint was red but faded to a nice maroon color. I have polished it up a bit but didn’t want to go thru the pinstripes and points. Tank wasn’t on when I got it but looks good, I made the brackets for mounting it. I had to re-lace the wheels as the spokes were bent and rusted bad. New departure rear hub is clean for its age and chrome shines nice, front new departure hub is clean but not shiny. I found the rack at a swap meet cheap and thought it looked good but prolly not correct. Fenders are peaked and really pretty straight with flat braces. Chainguard was re-spot welded to fit the straight down tube and looks great. Handlebars, Seat and post are NOT included with the sale, just put on for pics. I’m asking $750 including bikeflights shipping.
