Riding a '38 Autocycle Deluxe
With reluctance this bicycle has been parted out. Technically a 'parts bike'
overpainted and missing most of the rare parts.....
I had some interest in the tank and horn unit and rare sprocket and so it goes
Wheels, guard and locking fork are on Ebay no reserve

VERY NICE AND STRAIGHT Ladies 1938 Ranger Champion recently
brought back from a midwest trip. Previous owner must have had a
'field day' one this one making the holy grail parts (magically) disappear.
Would have been a Greyhound ornamented crossbar speedo dual headlight
drum brake beast for sure.
The very rare 4 hole Sawblade (drum Only) sprocket is still on board, same
as 1940 Schwinn Autocycle specials and 39 Superdeluxe with rear brake
would have used. Excellent orig chrome.
Locking truss fork works fine, fork is straight and has the long sleeve/cylinder
Automatic tumbler, Front fender is a KILLER Autocycle 'bomb' fender that is
super straight, a very valuable fender if you need one. Rear fender is pierced
for skirt lacing. Tank is very straight super solid and has the Very rare
Lantern Battery cage in perfect condtion no corrosion!
Both drop center rims match profile have have pretty good original plating
the hubs are 70's vintage as are spokes.
Nice Ranger badge on there. Guard is very pitted but looks pretty straight
and I'm sure a good chrome shop could work with this.
There you have it.....great for parts or great to restore. I just did not have the
heart to take wrenches to it. That's how I found her.
