Wore out three sets of tires already!
This bike is is pretty well done, with the exception of lacing up the dress guards, until I can find the real tank straps (hidden away safely for the last decade, until the right bike came along). I improvised with some 1” conduit guide. Thanks to @Josie 2 Shrimps, I was able to ditch the reproduction chainguard, and install a more complimentary original Featherguard. I can confirm that the redesign of the ladies fork is much more forgiving for the tank. The horn grille on the tank has blue striping that matches the paint on the frame. I’m pretty sure the handlebars aren’t correct, but I think this was after the “moustache” bars, with the wider bars that came straight back, rather than flaring out. I’m not sure what I’m going to do with it. I’ve wanted a prewar Hollywood for a long time, and just as this all came together, I found a 1940 Hollywood. I prefer the 1938 rear fender braces, and this has a cycelock, but I also don’t have a switch in the tank to do double seiss lights on the front.
