The hole was there when I got the bike. Just don't know why it is there.

I will say, it doesn't affect the ride or it's look.

Yea, I was worried it might affect the ride, you know, maybe cause some wind resistance. Maybe too much water gets in the hole when it rains, but it's cool, I like the hole...I might even drill it out and make it bigger- if I buy it.
