Skidding on my '41 Schwinn Autocycle
Need some funds for another project, selling my 1939 Hawthorne with working New Departure DD 2 speed. This bike was found in a dry shed in a high desert climate. No rust or rot. The rear hub is complete and in working order but needs to be cleaned and lubed. It looks like the threaded piece on the actuator has been shortened or broke off. (see picture) but still works. The cable needs to be replaced also. All original paint with no touch ups. Some paint loss on the rear rim. Front loader torpedo headlight, non horn tank, nice wide pullback handlebars, coke bottle grips,rear drop stand and clip. The seat looks like it has been replaced, not sure if it is correct.
