1939 Schwinn Motorbike???

I have what I believe to be a 1939 Schwinn American Flyer. The Crank is a Wald so no help there. There is not a seat post clamp as are all the others that I have found, but a through the frame seat post binder bolt. Can anyone shed some light on this for me? Thanks in advance!

Looks like a 16" frame model '39.

Cool shorty frame porject, I always thought the builder screwed up the seat post clamp so just cut it off and drilled the frame.
